Introduction:
Mixis, located in Fort Chipewyan, is seeking proposals from qualified individuals or entities to operate a small ice cream and hot dog shop on its premises. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing all aspects of the shop, including inventory, staff, customer service, and financial operations.
Scope of Work:
The Operator will be required to:
- Source and manage the inventory of ice cream, hot dogs, condiments, and other related products.
- Hire and train staff to provide excellent customer service.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Manage the financial aspects of the business, including sales reporting, expenses, and profit margins.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract customers and increase sales.
- Maintain a clean and organized shop environment.
- Other duties as required.
Selection Criteria:
The ideal Operator will possess:
- Prior experience in the food service industry, preferably in ice cream or fast food operations.
- Strong management and leadership skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- A track record of financial management and budgeting.
- Marketing and promotional experience.
- Availability to operate the shop during specified hours.
Proposal Submission:
